The new prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints delivered his first address to the congregation

Millions of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints around the world gathered to hear the address from their new prophet, President Russel M. Nelson.
This program was live broadcast from America in which members of the Liahona Stake were able to watch it live this morning.
The prophet of the church, President Russel M. Nelson urged members of the Church to be optimistic about the future, despite the challenges that they will face.
The counselor to the Temple President in Tonga, Sione ‘Ofa Taufa says he was excited over the news of the new prophet as President Nelson is an honest man and his calling is a blessing to him and his family.
The counselor to the Stake President for the Liahona stake says he’s overwhelmed with joy to witness the address from President Nelson.
The First Presidency was automatically dissolved since the passing of late prophet, President Monson and this morning, two new counsellors have been called in with Dallin H. Oaks as the First Counselor and Henry B. Eyring as the second counselor.
President Nelson is the 17th prophet of the Church after being an apostle for almost 34 years.
