Lachlan McCaffrey to visit Tonga in April

The Brumbies an Australian professional rugby union football team is to forge closer ties in promoting Sports Diplomacy and to develop the talent and potential of Tongan youths and explore opportunities to assisting sports in Tonga.
This is the purpose of a visit by an international Brumbies rugby player Lachlan McCaffrey to Tonga’s High Commissioner to Australia, Her Royal Highness Princess Latufuipeka at the Tongan High Commission in Canberra.
He was accompanied by three Brumbies players of Tongan descent; namely Lolo Faka’osilea, FolauFainga’a and Lausi’iTaliauli.
Lachlan’s visit to her Royal Highness is to discuss his upcoming visit on April 30th to the Kingdom to assist with the running of coaching clinics and distributing rugby kit such as boots and playing strips at the local communities.
Lachlan is an Ambassador for Youth-in-Union.
Youth-In-Union aims at developing the talents of youth and the underprivileged through rugby and sports, to enhance their future and bring unity by eliminating prejudices.
The Brumbies is an Australian professional rugby union football team competing in the Super Rugby.
