300 kava plants went missing from a plantation in Fo’ui

Police are on the hunt for suspects after a 300 kava plants reported missing from a plantation in Fo’ui earlier this month.
Information from Police states, a 70 year old man filed a complaint to Police on April 4th after he found out that 100 of his kava plants went missing.
While police were investigating the first complaint, the same complainant reported the disappearance of another 200 kava plants.
Police have appealed public to come forward if they have any information about this case.
No arrest has been made but Police have recorded many complaints about Kava plants missing from different plantations in Tongatapu.
