Tapuni Siliva Junior High School remain closed after Cyclone Gita

The President of Free Wesleyan Church Education Department is hoping to repair the damage to Tapuni Siliva Junior High School to enable them to return to their school next year.
The school was closed down after the severe damage sustained from Cyclone Gita earlier this year.
The school students have been relocated to Tupou High School and they are expected to remain there till the end of this year.
Rev. Dr Mele’ana Puloka says the government has provided financial assistance to cover for the transportation costs to transport these students from the eastern side to town everyday.
Meanwhile, the Principal of Tupou High School, Mele Taulanga says everything in the school is reported to be in a satisfactory condition.
Representatives from the Global Ministry of the United Methodist Church visited the school yesterday to witness the damaged.
