Tonga Community in Japan donated food items for victims of Cyclone Gita

The Tonga Community in Japan yesterday provided aid supplies to assist families that were affected from Cyclone Gita.
Some of the assistance were donated by Tongan rugby players in Japan.
Lesieli Namoa from the community says about 300 families will be fortunate with this assistance.
The assistance include rice, flour, sugar and water.
Japan’s Ambassador to Tonga – H.E. Tetsuya Ishii says they are delighted with the assistance.
Meanwhile, the Minister of MEIDECC – Poasi Tei thanked the Tongan community for their assistance.
Attending the program was the Deputy Prime Minister – Hon. Semisi Sika and other invited guests.
