NRL in Tonga highlights importance of good health in special school holidays program for primary students

With the primary schools on a one week break this week, the NRL here in Tonga has taken the chance to host a special program to highlight the importance of good health for primary school children.
There were many children between the ages of 5-12 at the Longolongo rugby field to join the NRL’s special school holidays program this morning.
Seni Lafo’ou, the administrator with NRL here in Tonga, says this program is part of the NRL’s wider initiative in promoting good health and rugby league in the primary schools around Tonga.
This morning’s program included several activities for the children to learn basic skills in rugby league game, as well as learning about healthy foods.
This special school holiday’s program continues on Thursday morning at the Longolongo rugby field and it’s open for all children between the ages of 5 – 12.
