Four new classrooms for Takuilau College

Radio & TV Tonga, Nuku’alofa ,10/08/2018

The construction of a building containing four classrooms is underway at Takuilau College after a fire incident last year.

The Principal of the College – Sitani Paulo Mahe says the construction work is possible through the financial assistance from the Catholic schools in Tonga and abroad.

He acknowledges Sam Pulu and Fakavai Mailau from NZ and also the teachers for helping to complete the work needed to be done to ensure the students are studying in a safer and healthier environment.

The cost of the construction project is about $50,000 pa’anga.

More than 100 students will benefit from this assistance.

The construction is expected to be completed by next week.
