The Ministry of Police had apologised for the error the Ministry made on its media release last Friday 12th of April.
In the release it stated – that a 32-year-old woman from Liahona was arrested and charged for possession of illicit drugs and illegal ammunition on Wednesday 10 April 2019.
However, in another release from the Ministry yesterday – police made a correction that the suspect is from Matangiake and not Liahona as initially released.
The same release also confirmed that the arrest has nothing to do with the school or the church.
Liahona is the name of the secondary school of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints and Matangiake is a village located near Liahona.
