The Minister of Justice & Prisons highlighted the significance for the government to empower the daily operations of the Ministry of Prisons to protect the country from the harmful effects of drugs as he believes they are not doing enough.
This was part of his address this morning to officially open the annual conference of the Tonga Prison Officers.
In his remarks – Vuna Fa’otusia highlighted the important role the prison officers do to maintain peace in the country especially towards combatting the negative effects of drugs.
