Locals of Nomuka concern over the lack of a doctor in the health center

Locals of Nomuka has raise concern over the lack of a doctor in the health center. Viliami Moala and Noa Latu from Nomuka said, a nurse has been operating the center for about 3 weeks now without a doctor and they are deeply concerned.
Latu and Moala said, when nurses don’t know what’s happening to the patient, the nurse will have to contact or sought help from doctors here in Tongatapu or Pangai.
They said they hope this will be solved soon as there are many elderlies in the island.
About 900 people use this centre which includes locals from Nomuka, Mango and Fonoi.
Contacts has been made to the Ministry of Health for a comment on the issue but to no avail.
