GPS Pea won the soroban competition for the Western District 2019

GPS Pea won the Soroban competition for the Western District for 2019. GPS Hofoa was in second place and GPS Kahoua at the third place. The competition was in three categories: written, oral and flash competition for students from class three, four and five.

In the written competition Siosifa ‘Ahomana from GPS Houma claimed first prize in level five, while Senivia Vakalahi from GPS Kahoua was the top student from class four and Fusi’aitala Toki took home the first prize for class three.

Class five student of GPS Kahoua Fotu Fangufangu won the flash competition, while Fane Toki from GPS Pea won the competition on her level and Alexander Pakofe from GPS PEA was winner on class three.

In the oral competition Fotu Fangufangu from GPS Kahoua won the competition for class five students, Taniela Foki from GPS Kahoua won the class four oral competition and Ngalukilo Mafi from GPS Hofoa was the top student from class three.

The annual competition was held at the Alai Pulotu Hall at Te’ekiu yesterday.
