Hundreds of women from all walks of life were at the Queen Salote College Hall this morning for the conference for the women on the frontlines Tonga 2019.
Members from Women on the Frontline from Australia participated with the aim to help empower women.
The President of the Education Department of the Free Wesleyan Church – Rev. Dr. Mele’ana Puloka says the biennial event is to support women in the leadership roles as they play a major role on the country’s development.
Meanwhile the Director of the Australia Women on the Frontline Dr. Royree Jansen says women of Tonga need to set their priorities right and to always put God first in everything they do.
‘We have advocated our role and we’ve only left behind us a dark vying area for the enemy to come in and control. But now as we as women take our step on to the front line that was what darkness create a space for the light to come. We want to inspire women that they are co-laborers in the harvest and also go airs with Christ and I want to say to you we are in the kingdom for such a time is this that the spirit of the Lord is upon us because he has anointed us to do what we cannot do on our own and we are in the kingdom for such a time as this”
Women on the Frontline Tonga believe that the outcome from the conference will help women stay connected so they can share their skills and expertise on every field.
