The President of the Free Constitutional Church of Tonga highlighted the importance of repentance for the youths.
He highlighted this yesterday during the 2nd program of youths from different denominations known as the Pilgrimage of Justice & Peace Association.
Rev. Kinitoni Mafi says – repentance is the first of 7 steps towards becoming a born again Christianity and therefore, youth must turn away from their past behaviours and in turn, accept Jesus Christ into their lives.
Rev. Mafi says if there is no repentance, there is no progress in the youth’s attempt for peace & justice.
He adds, Christ is and should be the only foundation of everything in order for the youths to live by example.
Rev. Mafi also says, the youth is a chosen generation and therefore, should be brought up in the ways of the Lord.
The Pilgrimage was established in 2017 with 3 different working committee including a spiritual committee, an environment committee and a technology committee.
