Her Majesty Queen Nanasipau’u urges to end domestic violence

Her Majesty Nanasipau’u during the annual general meeting of the Tonga National Women and Children Centre, this morning urged related stake holders to work collaboratively to address domestic violence cases in Tonga.
Her Majesty highlighted in her remarks the significance to end violence against women and children and to protect the victims and survivors of domestic violence, from all forms of abuse.
Queen Nanasipau’u adds more work should be implemented to eliminate all forms of violence in Tonga.
The Team Leader of the Center, Fuiva Kavaliku says as domestic violence cases is on the rise in Tonga they are working with related stakeholders to address the issue.
She also highlights financial assistance from Australia towards their services.
The meeting will identify problems and seek the best solution possible.
