The amendments include, prohibiting drivers to use their mobile phones for texting or for any other reason while driving on the road.
He adds Cabinet also agreed to a new proposed bill from the Ministry for the public to be implemented if passed by the Legislative Assembly of Tonga, for the passengers and drivers to wear their seatbelt while they are on the road.
