PM visits ‘Eua as island is announced to start 2020 Royal Agricultural Show

The Ministry of Agriculture is working on finalising the programs for this year’s Royal Agricultural show with ‘Eua set to kick off this year’s show. More information will soon be released to the public as well as the opening of registration to participate in this year’s shows.
The Show is expected to begin in June 2020 prior to the annual conference of the Free Wesleyan Church – although the CEO of the Ministry says there might be some changes.
Meanwhile, the government representative of ‘Eua – Sunia Havea says, major projects are expected to commence on the island this year including building of the royal residence, refurbishment of schools, and a new pack house.
The Prime Minister along with a delegation of several cabinet Ministers visited ‘Eua this afternoon regarding the impacts of damages made by TC Tino.
Havea says, while there, Prime Minister and delegation held a meeting with the people concerning urgent needs of the island along with visits to the affected areas following TC Tino.
After the one-day visit, the delegation will then return back tomorrow and will carry out a similar program to the two Niuas on Thursday.
