Pacific Partnership Program signs assistance for WCCC

The Women and Children Crisis Centre – WCCC today received assistance from the Pacific Partnership Program funded by the European Union in collaboration with the Australia and NZ government.
This afternoon the WCCC and Pacific Partnership Program signed the contract of the relationship between the two organizations.
The assistance received worth more than two hundred thousand US dollars aiming for the operations that will be carried out in the next 2 years by the Women and Children Crisis Center to the people in the country also to expand their employment opportunities to the public.
The Director of Women and Children Crisis Center – ‘Ofa Guttenbeil Likiliki talks about what they will carry out for the next 2 years over the assistance received.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Resident Representative from the Pacific Partnership Program talked about the significance of the assistance to Tonga.
Also attending the program were representatives from the United Nation’s women’s organization and many invited guests.
