First PCR machine for coronavirus testing arrives from NZ

The PCR machine for testing coronavirus that the ministry of Health ordered from New Zealand has arrived in the country.
Health Director – Dr. Siale ‘Akauola says, the machine arrived last week but cannot be used at the moment until the second machine ordered from the UK is expected to arrive in the country this week.
In a press conference last week, Dr. ‘Ana ‘Akauola from the Ministry of Health says, the PCR machine from Britain will be used for screening the samples while the other machine from NZ will be used as confirmation to verify the samples being tested in the first machine as two tests are required for every tests.
The cost for the machine from Britain was worth NZD$47,000 and the one from NZ worth more than NZD$90,000.
