TNYC continues to assist people following TC Harold

A group from the Tonga National Youth Council office (TNYC) have set sail to ‘Eua as part of their program in assisting with the impacts of Tropical Cyclone Harold.
Mausa Halahala, an officer from the environmental department of TNYC stated – that the trip to ‘Eua is in partnership with MORDI Tonga and that the program aims to test the water supply in ‘Eua. He added that the testing will begin with the different schools in ‘Eua and then from there to the different towns.
Meanwhile, the head of the TYNC group departing for ‘Eua, La’aina ‘i Pangai Tu’alau told Radio and Television Tonga News that the group consists of 12 young individuals.
He emphasized to the youth of Tonga the importance of carrying out such good deeds especially at this time of recovering from impacts of Cyclone Harold and Covid-19.
‘Eua was amongst those greatly affected by Cyclone Harold back in April this year.
