The Lulutai Airlines first-ever commercial flight is set to begin on the 21st of September, after completing the requirements from the international airlines.

The Chief Secretary and Secretary to Cabinet – Edgar Cocker says, they are currently working on completing these requirements within 90 days including the engineering, maintenance and other issues before they would be allowed to operate domestically.

Cocker said that the application had to abide to the different parts of the civil aviation act to comply with the PASO requirements together with ensuring its safety.

He added that the government currently has two aircrafts with their MA60 aircraft currently receiving maintenance work, adding that once the borders re-open, experts will be brought in to conduct a survey on the aircraft.

The government submitted their application on the 19th of June with the 90 days submission to be completed by the 18th of next month, in an agreement with international agreements ICAO and PASO.

Meanwhile, Lulutai airlines has begun advertising the tickets for domestic flights where they will be using two aircrafts – the SAAB340 and Y12 aircrafts.
