2020 final year for class six entrance examinations

This year might be the final year for class six students to sit the National Entrance Examination.
The Speaker of Parliament informed MPs this morning that it is part of the Educations Minister’s plan for students to sit the national entrance examination at form two instead of class six. He adds this year is historical as it could be the last year for class six students to sit the exam paper.
Today more than two thousand class six students sat the exam paper from 104 examination centres.
Radio and TV Tonga visited various centres in Tongatapu and interviewed Hepisipa Matauvave a class 6 student from GPS Vaini. She says that he’s happy with today’s exam paper as she didn’t find it that difficult.
A class six teacher Lose Nepote -of GPS Veitongo says she is content with this year’s exams and that she is delighted with this morning’s English exam.
A mother of one of the GPS students – Feauini Tafea says that she along with other mothers believe that their children’s results will come out fine.
