The body of the Tongan man that died of a snake bite last month will be repatriated back from Australia by the end of this month.
The Minister of Internal Affairs – Vatau Hui says the body of Timote Ongosiaa will be returned from Australia on the 28th of October and the expenses will be paid for by the Fruit Picking program in which Ongosia took part in – in Australia.
Ongosia passed away last month after he was bitten by a brown snake, one of the most dangerous snakes in Australia.
The fruit picking group in which Ongosia was a part of was supposed to travel back in July this year but due to the border closure this was not possible.
