Tongan fishermen of the fishing vessel Losamani Fo’ou arrived safely in New Zealand yesterday

The Tongan fishermen of the fishing vessel Losamani Fo’ou arrived safely in New Zealand yesterday.
A spokesperson for Police said, the detail of their arrival and who will facilitate their stay and return to Tonga is being referred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Radio Tonga News made contacts to the Ministry for further information but no one was available.
FV Losemani Fo’ou was located by the German cruise ship – Albatros and took them on board and all the way to Auckland.
The 6 Tongan fishermen didn’t have any water for 3 days while drifting on their boat in the ocean.
The fishing boat was located 400 kilometers South West of Tonga with an engine problem when they used their beacon to find help.
The owner of the fishing vessel is Vailele Taukitokuu of Fasi mo e Afi and he is well together with his crew.
