PM today led Tongatapu Constituency 6’s village inspection

The PM -Hon. ‘Akilisi Pohiva today led Tongatapu Constituency 6 village inspection with the theme to Keep Tongatapu 6 clean and beautiful. Attending to support the initiative were cabinet Ministers.

The village inspection started this morning with a prayer at the FWC of ‘Utulau’s hall and was attended by many people from Tongatapu constituency 6.

It followed a speech from the Prime Minister – Hon. ‘Akilisi Pohiva, where he praised the good and hard work from the people of Tongatapu 6 in supporting the initiative of Keeping Tonga Clean and beautiful.

The village inspection started from ‘Utulau, and was led by the Prime Minister and several cabinet Ministers, town officers and many people of Tongatapu Constituency 6.

Villages that were inspected today include Ha’alalo, Ha’akame, Houma, Liahona, Lakepa, Puke and ended with Hofoa.

At Hofoa, the PM and the cabinet Ministers were welcomed with a Kava ceremony then continued with a special luncheon program.

During the feast various entertainment were performed by the locals of Hofoa.
