GPS TOKOMOLOLO VICTORIOUS IN THE TONGATAPU WESTERN DISTRICT’S SOROBAN COMPETITION

GPS Tokomololo yesterday afternoon claimed victory in the Soroban Competition for all Primary schools in the Western District.

 

About 200 classes 3, 4 and 5 students from 14 primary schools competed in yesterday’s competition.

 

It was judged in 3 categories – oral, written and flash competitions.

 

In oral, ‘Amelia Kaufo’ou of  Hofoa GPS claimed first prize for class 3, while class 4 went to Irene Mapa of GPS Tokomololo and class 5 went to Malia ‘Olie also of GPS Tokomololo.

 

‘Eseta To’a of Tokomololo claimed victory in class 3’s flash competition, class 4 was won by Tupou Seini ‘Ungo’unga of Tokomololo and Malia ‘Olie again Tokomololo claimed first place in class 5.

 

Finally in the written category, Kolianita ‘Ungo’unga of Tokomololo won first place for class 3, class 4 went to David ‘Aho also from Tokomololo and Malia ‘Olie again of Tokomololo won the first prize for class 5.

 

The Western District sums up the final districts soroban competition for the whole of Tongatapu this year.
