Elderly women are treasures of the church and are specially recognized during the women’s September quarter roll-call

It is a day of rejoicing and joyful testimony especially for the elderly women of the Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga, and the Church of Tonga, as well as the Free Constitutional Church of Tonga.
Hundreds of Women today, answered their roll-calls for the annual September quarter. At the ‘Uluaki Mana building of the Constitutional Church of Tonga, there was a heart-warming feeling at this mornings roll-call as the church were blessed to still hear their precious elderly women, answer their roll-call for this year.
The elderly women are treasured by the church and their presence at today’s auspicious occasion was a blessing for the entire church.
The Church of Tonga held their September quarter roll-call at their headquarter at Pikulaa, while the Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga conducted theirs, at the Centennial Church, Nuku’alofa, where Princess Salote Mafile’o Pilolevu Tuita graced the occasion with her presence.
This is the roll-call of all the churches from around Tongatapu and was led by the President of the Free Wesleyan Church, Rev. Dr. ‘Ahio.
The roll-call programs had started at each village level from the beginning of this month featuring individual women testifying about the love of God in their local parishes.
This was followed by segments of the roll call for the major districts in Tongatapu, and then finally today, the service and roll call for the Tongatapu district.
As per usual, Tupou College and Tupou High School also held their annual fundraiser bazaar at the church ground to coincide with the roll-call.
Although this roll-call program is an annual event, it is always a special occasion come every September as the gift of life to arrive at each roll-call each year, is a blessing to the entire church, as well as the country.
