November’s General Election is the most important election in democracy

The outcome from the General Election this November will determine whether the political transition was effective or not. This is the third Election following the Democratic movement in 2010.
An expert on Political Science – Professor Malakai Koloamatangi says, the results will identify Tonga’s standard and the new Government can make changes, if needed.
He also says, with the upcoming election, people should choose wisely their candidates to Parliament people with skills and expertise who will help develop the nation.
There’s also a need to include women and youth in the next Government.
The University of Massey will host a three day dialogue on democracy starting tomorrow.
