Tonga’s national exams kicks off today with English

Hundreds of students from all the high schools in Tonga sat their external exams this morning. These are students from forms five through to form seven and they all sat the English exam today.


About 300 students gathered at the Apifoou College Hall from 4 different schools namely Apifoou College, Tailulu College, Lavengamalie College and also Tonga High School to sit their English exams today.


The rest of the form 5 and form 6 students sat their exams in their respective schools such as Beulah College and Liahona High School where about 200 students were in participation.


319 Form 7 students are currently sitting their exam at the Queen Salote College assembly hall.


At the same time, these exams are also being sat in the outer islands.


Radio Tonga reporter in Niuatoputapu, Louina Pongi says, about 30 students are taking their exams from Niuatoputapu.


From Ha’apai, many students are sitting their exams from Taufa’ahau Pilolevu college, St. Joseph College, Tailulu college and also Ha’apai High School.
